South China Daily reported that on July 15, the first heavy truck replacement power station in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao - "Fuhai Xinhe" replacement power station was put into operation in Shenzhen. This is another achievement of China Southern Power Grid Corporation in integrating and serving the new infrastructure and helping the "double carbon" goal.
It is understood that power exchange refers to the separation of electric vehicles and batteries. When the vehicle is in low power, it is sufficient to replace a fully charged battery at the power exchange station. For heavy trucks, compared with the charging mode, the power-changing mode can more effectively solve the pain points such as the scarcity of charging parking space, large battery capacity, and long waiting time for charging, fully improve the utilization rate of heavy trucks, and become an effective solution for electric energy supply of heavy trucks.
The "Fuhai Xinhe" power station is located at Fuyong Avenue, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, and is close to Fuyong Wharf, which is the wharf of Shenzhen mixing plant. The number of round trips of mixing truck and mud truck in a single day exceeds 5000 vehicles. The power station covers an area of 2557 square meters and is equipped with eight 300-kilowatt chargers. These chargers are like giant charging batteries to replenish the power of the dismantled batteries. The annual power change of the power station can reach 9 million kilowatt-hours, with an average of 150 power changes per day and a single power change of no more than 5 minutes, which can meet the power demand of heavy trucks at Fuyong Wharf.
The exchange station pays attention to standardization and intelligent construction. On the one hand, the top-mounted power exchange technology is adopted, and the configured battery frame can be compatible with nearly 20 heavy truck models for power exchange of head car enterprises, and more than 40 models such as mixer, mud truck and tractor; On the other hand, the intelligent driving system is configured to automatically locate and monitor the vehicles in the station to ensure the smooth and safe operation of vehicle power change.
Since 2017, China Southern Power Grid Corporation has put into operation the first "transformer+charging station" Lianhuashan charging station in China and the world's largest transportation hub "folk music P+R" charging station in Shenzhen. The market share of charging facilities and the access rate of charging platforms are among the top in Shenzhen, which strongly supports the fact that Shenzhen's new energy vehicle ownership is among the top in the world. Next, Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau will cooperate with Nanwang Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd. to build the "Fuhai Xinhe" power station into a demonstration model of heavy truck power exchange in the Greater Bay Area, build a heavy truck power exchange network facing the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, form a multi-scenario and large-scale power exchange industry in cities, ports and other areas, continue to improve the capacity of charging and changing services, and serve the green and low-carbon cycle development.
